Boustany Introduce Legislation for progress of entrance of Qualified Physicians in Southwest Louisiana

Washington, D.C- Charles W. Boustany the US Representative Jr. M.D (R-Southwest Louisiana) has introduced legislation for medical school students so that they can suspend repayment of their student loans.

Undoubtedly the cost requires in medical studies is much higher as comparison to other educational field that’s why lots of qualified youngsters fell very hard burden. But introduction of this legislation will help and facilitate recent graduate students to repay their loans over a long period of time thus it will help to remove the burden from the head of medical students.

According to words of Boustany he said that “we require more and more qualified doctors who can perform their practices in rural areas like Southwest Louisiana and thus this legislation will help and encourage the young medical students to go for their practices and studies.

Boustany along with Congressman Walberg (MI-07), made some adjustments in Higher Education Act for establishment of 20/220 rule or medical student loan deferment program. Under this act student can defer payment of their student loans without accruing interest for up to three years.
